Alpha consists of a series of talks covering topics such as:
. Who is Jesus?

. Why and how should I read the Bible?
. Why and how should I pray?
. What about the Holy Spirit?
. How does God guide us?
. How can I overcome evil?
. Why and how should I tell others?
. Does God heal today?
. What about the Church?
After each talk, participants get together in smaller groups to discuss any issues or questions they have, giving them opportunity to get to know each other and learn together.

The Alpha Course meets every week for ten weeks.  Coures sessions are usually held on Sunday evenings.  A weekend away is also part of the course.
