Throughout history, kingdoms have fallen, empires have collapsed, and yet, the church of Jesus Christ still stands, His word is still relevant, and His work on the cross still saves today. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us to consider how we can spur each other on, and not give up meeting together, but to encourage one another. The church still stands today –whether it’s 75 years or 2000 years – because gathering as a body is not just a good habit, but Christ’s design.
