OUR FACILITIES

CHAPEL

The chapel is the focal point of our church. The flat carpeted floor allows for versatile seating configurations. With additional seating available, capacity for this venue allows for a maximum of 550 persons, but can accommodate weddings of smaller-sized audiences without feeling too empty. In addition to the main stage, two set of steps and a preaching platform are semi-permanent modules that can be customised to suit different stage layouts.

Media projection is available across three front-of-house projectors, with a fourth offering stage display capability for presenters and performers. Apple TV connectivity allows for iPhone/iPad screen-sharing, plus tapping into the Apple suite of content/apps. The chapel is equipped to suit all audio, visual and lighting needs. Hire of the chapel includes a Clayton Church trained technician to operate and/or oversee system handling. Event organisers/presenters can tap into our triple-wide screen set up by downloading the PowerPoint template resource, or provide presentation content in single wide-screen formats. Video/film media is best optimised to a wide-screen resolution of 1200 x 720.

ROOM 1

Room 1 is a multipurpose rectangular-shaped room where various seating layouts can be arranged:

  • An empty layout allows our Emerge ministries to comfortably accommodate over 100 young people in with a front stage area for the worship band.
  • One arrangement could fit 12 individual rectangular tables, each seating 8 individuals, as a dinner party setting.
  • One popular large party layout is to line up two long rows of 3-4 tables for food, with seating lining the external walls. In this configuration, Room 1 combined with the cafe area help to provide a casual atmosphere and environment for wedding refreshments and relaxation.

Access to a serving counter is available at the cafe/kitchen end of the room.

Full audio, visual and lighting facilities are available, including DVD, Apple TV and two wireless microphones. Media distribution from the Chapel is also available for functions utilising both venues.

ROOM 2

Room 2 offers space for small to medium-sized gatherings, with a maximum capacity of up to 30 people.

Audio and video capabilities allow for both local content to be displayed as well as overflow AV distribution from the Chapel; the latter function is commonly utilised on Sundays when the room is used for Creche where parents have the ability to supervise their toddlers whilst viewing and listening to the main Sunday service on screen.

A small kitchen corner houses microwave, sink and mini-fridge, complete with coffee & tea facilities.

ROOM 3

Room 3 is a uniquely shaped carpeted open space upstairs which provides capacity of up to 100 individuals depending on the seating layout arrangement.

Audio/visual infrastructure of the room allows for both local content viewing as well as the standard distribution/output from the Chapel. Sound mixing capabilities with up to 12 input channels allows for local use with a live band, combining both wired instruments and microphones. One wireless microphone is included for use with the system.

Media projection is available via wired and wireless solutions, with front and rear connectivity available. Wireless projection is delivered via Apple TV Airplay capability and is therefore only available to Apple iOS devices.

Basic kitchen facilities are available within the room, with a microwave and sink enabling on-the-spot food and drink offerings.

ROOM 4

Room 4 is a versatile meeting space located upstairs split between a meeting room/table area for traditional sit-down meetings, and a second lounge setting where couches offer a cosy and relaxing atmosphere.

Audio/video facilities are made available via the LCD television complete with DVD player and Apple TV, which enables both wired HDMI and wireless Apple AirPlay connectivity.

Seating capacity for Room 4 allows for a maximum of 20 individuals.

CAFE & KITCHEN

The cafe area can be the most prominent and visible space within the Church building, strategically positioned nearest to the the junction of Burton Ave, Cooke St & Dunstan St.

With 8 round tables and two rectangular outdoor tables, the cafe can accommodate a maximum of 80 people depending on the desired layout and configuration. The wall-mounted television provides video capability whilst the in-built audio system allows connectivity to three wireless microphones plus an audio feed from the chapel. Additionally, Apple TV/AirPlay capability provides a wireless option for Apple iOS devices.

The kitchen facility offers cooking via gas stove as well as a commercial oven facility.
