Navigators’ BBQ & Bake Sale

On Sunday, 1 March, Sharon Yong will be sharing about Navigators, a university student-focused ministry that she and Andrew have been serving with for many years. As long-time members of our church, we are excited to hear about their heart to serve young people, and we welcome the chance to support them.
 
Sharon will also be promoting the BBQ & Bake Sale that Navigators will be running on 8 March at Clayton Church. This will take place after the morning service, and you will be able to purchase some sausages and snacks for a quick lunch while also supporting a valuable ministry.

Healing Through Creativity Life Group

Healing Through Creativity is a new Life Group that invites you into a gentle and hope-filled space where God meets us through creative expression. Creativity does not mean being artistic; it is part of how we are made in the image of our Creator and is present in everyday areas of life, such as problem-solving, gardening, cooking, and more. This group is especially for anyone carrying unexpressed emotions, feeling stuck in decision-making, or longing for a deeper Spirit-to-Spirit connection with God. In a safe and encouraging environment, come experience God’s healing heart, renewed joy, and greater freedom through creativity, while enjoying meaningful fellowship as the family of God.

Dates: Thursdays (19 Feb, 19 Mar, 16 Apr, 21 May, 18 Jun, 16 Jul, 20 Aug, 17 Sep, 15 Oct, 19 Nov)
Time: 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm

Embrace Picnic & Games 

Remember our Embrace Picnic and Games last year, which was cancelled due to poor weather? Well, it’s back, and we’re excited to finally gather together!

Come and join the Embrace women for a relaxed and fun afternoon of chatting, eating, strolling, and playing a few games in the park. We’d love you to come along and share this time together!

Date: Sunday 15 March 2026
Time: 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm
Venue: Jells Park
What to bring: A picnic rug or chair and some food to eat

English Learning

Equipping you with the confidence to speak English, build friendships and feel at home

For over a decade, Encounter English Learning has empowered newcomers to Australia by helping them develop essential English skills, build connections, and settle into their new community. Our dedicated volunteer team provides a supportive space to learn the fundamentals of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. Classes also explore Australian culture, customs, practical life skills, and include some Christian teaching.

Playgroup

A place of belonging, support, and encouragement for parents with toddlers

For over 40 years, our Playgroup has been a haven for parents with children aged 0–4. Our dedicated volunteer team provides a warm, safe, and structured environment where children learn through play, enhancing their social, motor, and cognitive skills. Parents, especially first-timers, find support for the challenges of parenthood while building connections with other families and accessing community resources.

Playgroup runs during school term on Thursdays, from 9.30 am to 11.30 am at Clayton Church. 

Playgroup will resume on 29 January 2026.
