Our Last Obedience Steps

One of the key values in discipleship is actively hearing and obeying the Word. Therefore, it is important to have accountability to one another for our step of obedience from studying the Word. Spend the first part of your discussion asking – how did your step of obedience go from the last time we met?

Read Matthew 4:18-20

• What do these passages tell us about Jesus?
• What do these passages tell us about you and your life?
• What did you like about this passage?
• What did you not like about this passage?

Discuss one or more of the following questions.

• in what ways is following Jesus counter cultural? What would that look like for your life?
• what motivates you to live your lives counter culturally ?
• what are some of the challenges you face in living counter cultural in your life? How does God help you overcome those challenges?
• how did what Ps Skinnar confirm the vision and direction of our church?
