SERMON SUMMARY

The Covid-19 global pandemic has changed everything – our social interactions, our economies, our work and our rhythms of life. How do we walk forward into this new normal? But yet as disciples of Jesus, this continuous to remain as God’s world. Nothing has changed. He is sovereign, He is ruling, He has designed ways in which the world is best lived in regardless of context, circumstances, economics, or pandemics. God has given us the book of Proverbs to provide us His wisdom as a way for us to live out life God’s normal. We don’t follow the world’s new normal. We rediscover God’s timeless normal.

 

Ps Chee shared four things godly wisdom gives us:

1. The Discipline of Wisdom (Proverbs 1:2) – allowing wisdom to instruct us through life’s experiences

2. The Discernment of Wisdom (Proverbs 1:2-3) – the ability to have insight into situations, people and our hearts

3. The Discretion of Wisdom (Proverbs 1:4) – the ability to have foresight of how and when to make our decisions

4. The Development of Wisdom (Proverbs 1:5) – the ability to have humble curiosity in spite of your experiences in life
